Paul’s auctioneering heritage dates back to the early 1900s through William B. Fitt, a prominent firm involved in livestock, land and property transactions. He later spent approximately 15 years working alongside his father, Paul O’Brien Sr., at P & W O’Brien, where he developed a deep understanding of market fundamentals, client relationships and the practical realities of successful property sales.

Paul further broadened his experience during five years with Chesser Auctioneers, a firm established in the early 1980s, before joining MRA Auctioneers, where he has been a Senior Estate Agent for the past two years.

Practising since 1999, Paul is fully qualified through the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and is a certified TRV valuer. His expertise spans new residential developments, development land, residential and commercial sales, commercial land, lettings and full property management services.

Alongside his technical expertise, Paul brings a strong creative and marketing skillset to every instruction. He plays an active role in the strategic marketing of properties, brands and businesses, with a proven ability to position assets effectively in the marketplace.
